The Pampas region is a vast area of Argentina that includes the provinces of Buenos Aires, La Pampa, Santa Fe, Entre Rios and Cordoba as well as parts of Uruguay and Brazil. This region is traditional farm land and within this region there are some historic estancias that have developed into accommodation options specialising in allowing you to experience the essence of this region: scenery, wine, barbecues and horse riding. Probably the best and most easily accessible place to experience this traditional way of life and stay in an estancia is near the historic town of San Antonio de Areco which is around two hours drive from central Buenos Aires, and we have hand selected the best estancias in this region to be included in our holidays. Day trips to visit these estancias are also possible from Buenos Aires.
