The hotel is situated around 25 miles from Chachapoyas, the major city in the region, and is within the small Peruvian village of Cocachimba which serves as a starting point for treks to the Gocta Waterfall and is a great location for tours to Kuelap Fortress. The hotel is situated at an altitude of 1800m and enjoys a spring climate throughout most of the year.
