Holiday Itinerary
Arrive in Santiago in the morning, we will meet you and escort you to your hotel. In the afternoon enjoy a city tour throughout Chile's capital first visiting the central downtown region to discover the main Plaza de Armas, the Cathedral and Government Palace before visiting old bohemian Santiago and the famous landmark of San Cristobal Hill for incredible views of the Andes.

Our Valparaiso tour starts with a visit to Viña del Mar, known as Chile's "garden city" because of its beautiful beaches, flower gardens and parks, before continuing to the UNESCO World Heritage city of Valparaiso where you will explore this vivid 16th century city to admire its fascinating architectural style and the colourful homes and buildings dotted around the hills surrounding the central port.

This morning fly from Santiago north to the city of Calama from where we will escort you to your hotel in the famous traditional town of San Pedro de Atacama. In the afternoon enjoy a tour to visit Salt Mountain, Death Valley and Moon Valley in the Atacama Desert and to admire the sunset in this incredible landscape in the beautiful wilderness in this desert region of northern Chile.

Journey on a full day excursion to experience the incomparable beauty of the lagoons and lakes of the high-altitude region of the Atacama desert. The day begins with a visit to the traditional Chilean town of Toconao before continuing towards the stunning Chaxa Lagoon on the Atacama salt flat, a habitat for pink flamingos. The journey continues to an altitude of 4500m above sea level and concludes with the highlight of the day as you enter the Flamingos National Reserve to visit Meñiques and Miscanti Lagoons which are flanked by impressive volcanoes. Lunch is included in a local restaurant.

Depart very early this morning to visit the impressive Tatio Geysers. This giant geyser field is best viewed at sunrise when the early morning rays rise over the Andes mountains and dance off the rising steam columns of the geysers. You'll embark on a guided walk among the geysers before being able to bathe in the natural waters if you wish. The return journey to San Pedro de Atacama passes the Torcopuri and Saiecabur Volcanoes, and the remainder of the afternoon is free time to explore the town.

This morning take a flight from Calama in Chile's northern Atacama region to Puerto Montt in the heart of Chile's Lake District. From Puerto Montt we will escort you to the delightful lakeside town of Puerto Varas, your home for the next few days, with its incredible views of Osorno Volcano and picturesque setting.

Full day tour journey by road from Puerto Varas to the delightful village of Ensenada from where you will set off on foot to climb up a section of the stunning Osorno Volcano, a beautiful volcano with a typical iconic conical shape. During the walk you will stop to admire the nature and the view before reaching the Osorno Volcano Ski and Mountain Centre. From here you will continue to the Petrohue Waterfalls to admire the river and waterfalls as well as the crystalised lava shapes formed over centuries of volcanic eruptions. The tour concludes at Todos los Santos Lake before returning to Puerto Varas.

Fabulous excursion to the beautiful Chiloe Island to visit Ancud and admire a penguin colony. The day starts with a road journey south from Puerto Varas to Pargua village to embark on a ferry crossing to the island. On the island enjoy stops at Caulin Beach and a local bird sanctuary before arriving at the picturesque city of Ancud to visit the Plaza de Armas, museum and San Antonio fortress with its incredible views. At Puñihuil Beach nearby you will then board a boat to enjoy a cruise to spot Humbolt and Magellan penguin species that live on nearby islets - this is the only known location where both species live together.

Here you will enjoy a three-night fully inclusive full board stay including excursions to maximise your enjoyment and experiences within this fabulous landscape.

Return by road to the town of Punta Arenas, the capital of this region of Chile, and in the afternoon enjoy a city tour of this delightful city. The tour begins at Cerro Mirador Hill for stunning views of the city, the Strait of Magellan and Tierra del Fuego Island, before continuing to visit the most important and historic sights within the city including the Museo Salesiano which explores the history of Patagonia and a visit to the historic Palacio Sara Braun traditional residence. Note that museums are closed on Mondays in Punta Arenas.
